Challenging yet rewarding, the role of Sales Negotiator is pivotal to our business and we’re looking for the right person to fill those shoes. Does this sound like you? Here’s what we’re looking for.

You’ll be in the heart of it all as Sales Negotiator as part of our growing Ribble Valley Office.  We are looking for a full-time member of staff to join our successful village, rural and high-end Agency team in Clitheroe.

In this role you will handle all types of enquiries, arrange marketing appraisals and viewings, proactively match applicant and property databases, receive and negotiate offers, report to our surveyors and ensure that our high levels of customer service are maintained. In addition, there will be an element of providing administration support to the Surveyors, including but not limited to compiling valuation reports, dealing with correspondence, creating electronic files, diary management, and invoicing.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with previous estate agency experience although this is not essential for the right candidate. You must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and be highly organised. You must be able to work as part of a strong team but be self motivated and hold a full UK driving licence. Salary will be dependent on experience.

Armitstead Barnett is an independent and progressive firm of Chartered Surveyors, Auctioneers, Land and Estate Agents, operating predominately within North West England, currently with four offices across Lancashire and Cumbria.

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit an additional Rural Graduate Surveyor to join our Professional Team.  The successful candidate will assist and support the Partners and Associates in all work aspects, including but not limited to:-

  • Valuations
  • Farm, Land, Rural Property and High-End Estate Agency
  • Compulsory Purchase Schemes
  • Utilities and Compensation Claims
  • Agricultural Land and Property Management
  • Agricultural Landlord and Tenant Matters
  • Live and Deadstock Auctioneering
  • Basic Payment and Stewardship Schemes
  • Land and Development

The candidate must be forward thinking and up to speed with rural affairs.  They will be highly organised, with a strong work ethic, enthusiastic and dynamic.  This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking a career in the rural sector, with ambition and talent to help the development of our expanding business.

The candidate will be due to complete or will have completed an RICS accredited degree.  They will be highly motivated to gain both RICS and CAAV qualifications and will receive great support in training from APC Assessor and CAAV Examiner colleagues, with the firm having a strong commitment to the training of its staff.
